Coaching

Alongside therapy, I also offer coaching. In my case, the two are not particularly distinct. I draw from the same theoretical perspectives in both cases, paying attention to the patterns in how you relate to yourself and others, and helping you uncover the forces that unwittingly shape your decisions, confidence, and direction in life.

My approach isn’t about motivational technique or productivity tools (not that I’m against these). It’s a reflective space where you can get a clearer sense of your own mind, and begin to make choices that feel genuinely yours.

Whether you come to me for therapy or coaching, my role is to ask the right questions, offer observations, and help you notice the patterns that support or limit you.

So what’s the difference?

If there is a difference, it is in you.

Maybe you feel broadly OK in yourself, or even more than that, yet recognise that something isn’t quite aligned. Your need might be to navigate a specific challenge, a profound crossroad, or desire for renewed growth – with a focus on clarifying what matters to you and what might be getting in the way

If that sounds like you, let’s call it coaching.

But if you’re unsure which feels right, that’s also fine. We can discuss it and see what’s useful for where you are now. We can also drop the notion that there’s a distinction, and focus on what unfolds as we work together.
